--so there was this time when we had a photoshoot for my brand, and my models were my sorority sisters from college, and we used sparklers, and had a cuppies and joe cupcake, and it was the best day ever--
Last Wednesday was photoshoot day for summer 2014. I am so grateful for each of these girls!! Here is a little collage of some behind-the-scene photos with the models. Needless to say…we had a lot of fun!! :)
I am always so thankful for all of my models that have been apart of my journey creating AMD. From runway shows, to spending the entire day out in the hot sun modeling for photoshoots...and everything else in-between. I truly appreciate you all so much. Each of you have helped create and transform Amanda Moore Designs™ into what it is today. It makes me want to tear up just thinking about it, so I'm going to stop now. xoxo

Models included: Amanda Davis, Sarah Williams, and Brynne Njaa.
Amanda, Sarah, Mary, and I were all in Sigma Phi Lambda ( Phi Lamb – Sisters for the Lord) together back in college at Oklahoma State! So it was fantastic seeing Amanda and Sarah again! It was my first time meeting Brynne and she is THE sweetest (and her HAIR is gorgeous. We all kept talking about how it was the perfect natural color all throughout the day.) LOVED spending my day with these hearts.
My photographer as many of you know, Mary O, is amazing. She is my dear friend (and little from OSU phi lamb– wut!) Mary had a full 5 ½ hour long shoot day planned for us. Starting off, Mary and I did individual shots and I was behind the camera for that session. I loved every minute of it. Amongst the HOT day it was, and the many times I had to stand over the camera bag to protect it from lots of walking people around us as we were photographing in the alley way next to a dumpster, seriously though... these places have the BEST walls to get a great shot with garments. So, totally worth it. We have become such a great team. It doesn’t take us long to strap Mary in some of my Steve Madden wedges, style her look, walk through some rocks, strike front – side – back shots, wardrobe change and on to the next look.
Later on we met up with the other girls at Cuppies and Joe – so yum!
From here on out I styled up the girls looks and Mary did her thing behind the camera. After getting some photos taken around Cuppies, we traveled out to Lake Hefner! OH MY GOODNESS. This was my favorite location to date. Mary had staked out some stunning locations for us there from sailboats, to sand, and ending with feet in water with sparklers in hand…great day. As 8:30p came around, the sun was beginning to set, and we were starved so that only calls for Chipotle in our minds. Grabbed it to go, and we all headed over to Mary’s for some great conversation and even better company.
And that’s another AMD photoshoot wrap.
I can’t wait for you all to see the photos. You can literally tell the amount of joy and how much fun was had just by looking through the images captured. I’ve only seen a few myself and they are all STUNNING. These girls rocked it! Thankful for each of them.
The joy of the lord is my strength.
